The composition overturns the traditional notion of an island, breaking it up to create an internal top suspended between two more traditional elements. It is this gap, this pause, this void that enriches the kitchen’s potential, suggesting that it can be used as a place to work, study, play, dine and prepare food together. Skin Chic is also available in a suspended version, showcasing the incredible adaptability of the handle profile, which can be used as a supporting structure, lightening the connection between the floor and island, suspended on elegantly shaped feet.
