If a drawer and/or oven is installed, if the structures at the side are visible they must be finished with specific side facing panels. If a structure is next to a base unit or cupboard composition, a side facing panel reaching down to the floor must be installed between the two. The depths of structures cannot be modified. Structures cannot be configured with legs of different heights and/or different depths. Fittings cannot be added and/or removed except where specified. Fittings cannot be interchanged. Multiple module structures of 86.2 cm [33 7/8] cannot be created. Structures cannot be placed back to back. Corner structures are not possible. Structures cannot be used in freestanding mode. Appliances without cabinet cannot be placed next to structures. Gas ovens, ovens with hinged doors or ovens requiring ventilation from the top cannot be used. Only the specific side facing panels can be fixed to structures. At the end of the composition, it is not possible to add cupboard top boxes d 35 cm [13 3/4] on structures d 40 cm [15 3/4] or cupboard top boxes d 60 cm [23 5/8] on structures d 70 cm [27 1/2]. "Small" depth worktops cannot be used. Any type of worktop can be applied on structures h 76 cm [29 7/8], but specific hobs and/or washing zones can only be added with DUAL. The DUAL worktop cannot be applied on structures h 87 cm [34 1/4], and hobs and sinks cannot be added; only special washing zones can be used. To allow correct installation of structures, the following room dimensional requirements must be met. There must always be a gap of at least 1 cm [3/8] above the top of the structure. If the structure is installed in an alcove, there must be a gap of at least 1 cm [3/8] widthways. If the structure is installed between two walls, there must be a gap of at least 8 cm [3 1/8] widthways. The room must always be at least 100 cm [39 3/8] deeper than the length of the structure. Characteristics K-System structures are configured in single or multiple modules and can be installed on walls (d 40 [15 3/4] - 60 [23 5/8] - 70 cm [27 1/2]) [or in island mode (d 40 [15 3/4] - 60 cm [23 5/8]) in line with specific base units, to form only d 120 cm [47 1/4]. If the rear panels are larger than the maximum producible sizes, they will be produced in two or more parts. The bottom level is always fitted with a fixed shelf or a tubular footrest (only base structure h 76 [29 7/8] - 87 cm [34 1/4] d 40 cm [15 3/4]). The height of the variable height structures only can be reduced and the positions of the shelves above the drawer can be modified provided the interspace between two shelves is no less than 18 cm [7 1/8]. The second level can be equipped with removable aluminium shelf with glass/bottle rack or with solid wooden shelf, as preferred. Wooden shelves can be fitted with LED lighting strips from a minimum height of 119 cm [46 7/8] and cornices from a minimum height of 186 cm [73 1/4]. The rear panel may be wider in order to cover the thickness of any side facing panels. Wall unit and cupboard top boxes can be placed on top of the structure. Structures h 76 [29 7/8] - 87cm [34 1/4] p 60 cm [23 5/8] may be placed 10 cm [3 7/8] from the wall to allow the use of worktops d 70 cm [27 1/2], provided the sides are not visible, meaning that they are next to a side facing panel, a wall or a corner cupboard. The tall unit back panel can be fitted with an electrified rail. Structures can be customised in the Metallix finishes and the lacquered finishes of the K-Lab programme. Structure back panels can be customised in the wood finishes and the lacquered finishes of the K-Lab programme.
