Mastery 158 Maestrie Nel ripercorrere i vecchi gesti di fotografo, ritrovo anche me stesso all’interno di questo progetto di alta artigianalità. Gli spazi di Foscarini si trasformano in un set fotografico, un banco ottico 8x10 e delle pellicole B&W istantanee documentano la chiusura di un ciclo produttivo. Lo still-life della lampada spenta, come scultura, mette in luce la materia, ne documenta la raffinata fattura. È un gioco alla pari, dove il vecchio lavoro del fotografo, che utilizza il banco ottico, fa da specchio al lavoro artigianale dell’operaio. Tracing back through the old gestures of photography, I also find myself inside this very handmade project. The spaces of Foscarini become a photography set; an 8x10 optical bench and B&W instant film document the conclusion of a production cycle. The still life of the lamp, turned off, like a sculpture, reveals the material, documenting its refined workmanship.
