Moroso vol 1/3 Sofas + Seating systems Numen/For Use Numen/For Use è un collettivo di design austro- croato attivo nel settore della scenografia, del design industriale, del design spaziale e dell’arte concettuale. Il gruppo nasce nel 1998 dalla collaborazione dei designer industriali Sven Jonke, Christoph Katzler e Nikola Radeljković, riuniti sotto il nome di For Use. Nel 1999 fondano Numen, identità collettiva il cui fine è occuparsi di tutti i progetti al di fuori della sfera del design industriale. Dal 2004 in poi, dopo aver concluso un progetto site-specific su larga scala per la produzione di “Inferno” presso il Centro Nazionale di Arte Drammatica di Madrid, Numen/For Use ha iniziato a dedicarsi prevalentemente alla scenografia. Nel 2008 il collettivo rivolge la propria attenzione alla configurazione di oggetti e concetti privi di una funzionalità predefinita, per abbracciare progetti più ibridi e sperimentali come ad esempio le serie N-Light e le installazioni Tape, Net e Tuft, esposte negli spazi pubblici e nelle gallerie di tutto il mondo. Numen/For Use is a collective working in the fields of scenography, industrial and spatial design and conceptual art. The group first formed in 1998 as a collaborative effort of industrial designers Sven Jonke, Christoph Katzler and Nikola Radeljković under the banner For Use. In 1999, they established Numen as a collective identity covering all projects actualised outside the sphere of industrial design. From 2004 after setting up a large scale site-specific project for the production of “Inferno” in the National Centre for Drama in Madrid, Numen/For Use became intensely involved with scenography.
