Arts & Crafts si spoglia volutamente del superfluo, utilizzando la materia come unico elemento a cui rispondere. Luxury is a concept that transcends all social conventions because it relates to freedom. Freedom to interpret a material or a piece of furniture with “imagination” making the object “something” original. The designer suggests a function, leaving the reality and experience to test its capabilities. Arts & Crafts deliberately gets rid of the superfluous, using the matter as its unique speaker.
