The name of this family refers to the geometry of the rug surfaces, divided into three identical portions marked by the weft decoratively exposing some of the warp. The resulting effect is like ajouré needlework. Tradition and contemporaneity together allow the rug to furnish an outdoor setting by marking out new spaces while being admirable for its elegance and softness.
