The reference to curved shapes in CURVE is the result of a dual approach: on the one side, there is the whole tradition of curved, rounded furnishings typical of the seventeenth-eighteenth century, where the corners and undulations of the shapes are reinforced by gold and silver leaf; and on the other side, there are the gentle, fascinating curves of the Tuscan, Florentine and Sienese landscapes. Thus an approach which is both material and territorial-panoramic at the same time. Great undulating surfaces interrupted by large areas of straight paneling that here become handles, breaking up and, by contrast, exalting the curviness of the object. These elements of discontinuity are finished with bronze leaf, while the rest remains, in essence, very light and clear. Il riferimento alle forme CURVE nasce da una doppia suggestione: da una parte tutta la tradizione dei mobili curvi, bombati, propri al sei-settecento ove la foglie d’oro e d’argento rafforzavano gli angoli e le sinuosità delle forme, dall’altra le morbide e affascinanti curve del paesaggio toscano, fiorentino e senese.
