Nel 1936, anno in cui Giovanni Vittorio Bonaldo inizia a lavorare metalli, mitico “punto di partenza” imprenditoriale, si possono scorgere tratti distintivi che proseguiranno nel tempo, mantenendosi e rinnovandosi nelle interpretazioni degli stili e delle esigenze, nel design e nelle tecnologie. The Bonaldo story The Bonaldo story is one of the here and now which spans generations and designs, needs and desires, interpreting the unpredictability of time as an opportunity and regarding consistency as a constantly evolving process. From 1936, the year in which Giovanni Vittorio Bonaldo began working metals, and which represents this mythical entrepreneurial “starting point” certain distinctive characteristics can already be detected. These would remain over time, maintaining and renewing themselves in the interpretations of styles and demands of design and the different eras. Nata come manifattura dei metalli, la storia di Bonaldo si estende negli anni attraverso il confronto con i materiali e le tecniche di produzione: dalle lavorazioni in legno o in ceramica alla produzione di oggetti in policarbonato o in pressofusione in alluminio; dalle applicazioni del vetro, del cuoio o dei tessuti a quelle in marmo, cemento o argilla.
