2 FRAMES OF LIVING Update Nel 2021 il design Bonaldo procede interpretando gli ambienti di vita e di lavoro attraverso diverse “stanze/casa”: ambienti come le zone giorno o notte o l’area living in cui si articola lo spazio abitato, di lavoro o di accoglienza. Il programma di arredo coordinato B/Style prende vita in un numero selezionato di elementi, che interagiscono tra loro in un dialogo armonico e immediatamente comprensibile. Il tavolo e le sedie, per esempio, oppure il divano e la poltrona con la libreria, o ancora, il letto insieme ai complementi notte sono sviluppati partendo da un’idea nella quale ogni oggetto è parte integrante dello spazio: un’immagine del design molto differente da quella che vede gli elementi d’arredo come semplice raccolta di pezzi d’autore, ciascuno perfettamente esposto e immerso in una dimensione a sé stante. Nella visione B/Style ogni stanza è interpretata un po’ come una piccola casa, formata a sua volta da vari ambienti e collegati tra loro. Il dialogo tra gli arredi fornisce il passaggio tra l’uno e l’altro, e per attraversarlo non occorre necessariamente muoversi tra gli usi, ma è sufficiente lasciarsi catturare dalla loro atmosfera. La bellezza si compone così mano a mano, di sguardo in sguardo e di uso con uso facendo vibrare come in un’orchestra gli stili dei designer che li hanno disegnati: gli elementi d’arredo, i loro colori e le luci, i materiali e le finiture agiscono in tal modo come singoli “pixel” di un’immagine coordinata: sempre diversa ogni volta che la si guarda, ma ogni volta accogliente nei tratti. Per la prima volta, sono gli arredi che accolgono gli ambienti, e non viceversa: qualcuno la chiama “inversione concettuale”, e questa volta è targata Bonaldo. In 2021 Bonaldo design takes a step forward by interpreting living and working environments through a series of different “rooms/houses”: spaces such as day or night areas or a living area separated into spaces dedicated to living, working or sharing. The B/Style coordinated furniture program comes alive with a carefully chosen number of elements that interact with each other in a harmonious and immediately understandable dialogue. The table and chairs, for example, or the sofa and the armchair with the bookcase, or even the bed together with the night-time components are developed starting from an idea in which each object is an integral part of the space: this is a very different image of design from the approach in which the furnishing elements are just a simple collection of individual pieces, each perfectly displayed immersed in a dimension of its own. The B/Style vision interprets each room as if it were like a small house, made up of various interconnected spaces. The dialogue between the different elements provides the transition between them, and you don’t necessarily have to move between them to cross this transition: simply let yourself be captured by their atmosphere. Beauty is thus created gradually, from one look to another and from one use to another, making the styles of the designers who created them resonate as if playing together in an orchestra. The furnishing elements, their colours, lights, materials and finishes all act as single “pixels” in a coordinated image: always different every time you look at it, but constantly welcoming in every detail. For the first time ever, it is the furnishings that host the rooms, and not the other way around: some call this a “conceptual inversion”, and this time it bears the name Bonaldo.
