Starting point of the itinerary: an idea of the interior that aims to detach itself from the codes of modern tradition and one in which objects are shown as purely original pieces. The living and working environments, whether day or night are thus interpreted as a housewithin-a-house, where each object is not just a guest, but an integral part of it. The 2022 collection sees Bonaldo extending its meanings and possibilities. It is the result of a coordinated effort which brings together different styles in an orchestration that refines the differences and translating them into harmonies. The individual elements – from tables and chairs, bookcases and sideboards, mirrors and consoles, up to the sleeping area - subtly interact with each other and radiate vibrating qualities that are either gradually perceived or immediately striking. The furnishings seem to act like the architecture of a hypothetical city, in which the rooms are the neighbourhoods and the streets the experiences. But, like buildings in a real city, each piece of furniture or accessory, however different it may be, contributes to creating an individual and at the same time shared atmosphere: perceiving it is equivalent to finding yourself in a place without the certainty of having been there before.
